After Hours
by Kevin Stone <http://www.pioneerdrama.com/authordetail.asp?ac=STONEKEVIN>
All is quiet on the storefront as the owner of a small clothes shop locks up for the night. Little does she know that when the lights go out, activity in her store really picks up! Two lively mannequins, LuAnn and Patty, have been waiting all day for a chance to loosen up. When they discover fellow mannequin Danny in a mistakenly delivered crate, the night really gets interesting! The new mannequin on the block talks of his dreams of becoming a crash test dummy — “No more standing all day with a crooked hairpiece!” he exclaims. He not only gets out of his box, he thinks outside the box when a pair of bungling burglars breaks in. With Danny taking the reins, the mannequins show the crooks who the real “dummies” are, playing games with their minds, frightening them out of their wits and sending them on their way! To add to the fun and suspense, the burglars and mannequins are almost caught by the near-sighted security guard and some late-night window shoppers.  You won’t want the curtain to close on this crazy award-winning comedy!

A Small Wooden Horse
by Ev Miller <http://www.pioneerdrama.com/authordetail.asp?ac=MILLEREV>
What is high school like in the year 2330? In this Ev Miller fantasy, it is a society where students are divided into two groups, the Elites and the Skillys; a place where young people exist without feelings and are taught by machines. Paul Farrel is the president of Elite School No. 53, where all forms of "personal adornment" are forbidden. His life is suddenly turned upside down when he meets a girl who wears a small wooden horse around her neck; a symbol of rebellion against the system.

The Swimmer
by Xavier Hogan

The Swimmer is a highly theatrical contemporary tragicomedy. The story involves a young man at a corner bus stop who is absolutely convinced he is drowning though there is no water in the vicinity. Each person who passes by becomes somehow involved in the situation, but each is more interested in promoting his own point of view than helping the man. One woman calls him a bore; a policeman writes him a ticket; a business man throws him a quarter. Is anyone able to help the drowning man before it's too late?

HANOCK LEVIN

June 1&2

upcoming

TRK Cie will be performing in French:

Douce Vengeance et autres sketches, by Hanoch Levin. Directed by Pierre Leloup.

"Dans cette suite de séquences à l'écriture incisive, Levin propose une galerie de personnages prêts à tout pour avoir prise sur l'absurdité de la vie, sauf à prendre le risque d'exister. Éclairées par le prisme grossissant d'une luciditée exacerbée, leurs piètres stratégies sont mises à nu. Leurs comportements dont la logique n'a d'égale que l'inéluctable échec, nous renvoient à nous mêmes et à nos vaines gesticulations."
