Quartet San Francisco Fri, September 21 at 7:30 PM
This fabulous string quartet will offer a wonderful musical journey filled with nuances of tango and other Latin-infused sounds. Quartet San Francisco will also be previewing compositions from their upcoming album "Whirled Chamber Music". This event is the Theatre season opening night. Pre-concert reception starts at 6:30 PM with complimentary hors-d'oeuvres and Champagne for ticket holders.

Quebec's Quartango takes tango in new directions, with impeccable arrangements, subtle and unexpected allusions to classical music, and a liberal dose of humour, all woven together by the elegant interplay of ensemble playing at its best. Quartango will be accompanied by tango dancers Roxana & Fabian Belmonte.

This puppet show is based on a folktale/fairytale recounted by the Grimm brothers. It sparkles with wit and humor as two endearing elves come to the rescue of shoemaker, Mel Footmeyer and his wife Tootsie. Performed by Tears of Joy Theatre. Suitable for children 4 and up.

Le Vent du Nord has crowds dancing to the sound of fiddle and hurdy-gurdy, using an original repertoire. Their music is both fresh and bound to tradition. They sing originals and songs taken from the traditional repertoire, in their native French, to the delight of their audience- for whom it is more often than not a foreign language.
