An exclusive selection of films from the 2022 DCW festival

We present the entirely new discipline of short dance film, combining the best elements of dance, cinematography, and choreography. With refreshing new work from around the world, the artistically-minded 3-day festival promises a balm for the mind.

Individual tickets are $15/ night or Passes are $30/ 3 nights. Tickets and Passes include:

Wine and cheese tasting at intermission

Exclusive conversations with filmmakers, producers, dancers, choreographers, and festival directors (via zoom or onstage)

Access to 2 BONUS films, screened online on Sunday

1st Night-

DOCUMENTARY International

A package of 5 documentary shorts from Australia (Behind murmuring), the Netherlands (Chanel | Sharing my colours with you), Turkey (When the Dance Creates the Music), Kuwait (An evening with Laila), and the U.K. (Troleibusas). 


New Perspective: North America

A package which contains a collection of 7 short dance films hailing from Canada and the U.S., including films by Dolly Sfeir, Marc Tyus & Madison Olandt, Kurt Csolak, John Michael Castagna, Jaryd Jensen, Savannah Dunn, Nathan Hirschaut, Lauren Finerman, and Cathy Marston.

New Perspective: Europe

10 dance shorts for those hankering for a perspective from the European continent. This selection includes films by Antonia Economou, Aina Lanas, Viliam Dočolomanský, Jiří Matoušek, Amy Becker-Burnett, Luca Signoretti, Tobias Buchmann, Alicja Pahl, Javier De Frutos, Dan Löwenstein, John Degois, Joshua Ben-Tovim, Gregoire Korganow and Amala Dianor, Roseanna Anderson, and Katrina McPherson.

Outside of Los Angeles County

Online screenings are available anywhere in the United States, except for Los Angeles County, for 24 hours from 5:00pm PST each day.
